What is PicoList?
PicoList is an email gateway service for news and notifications
about your immediate area.
Why 'Pico'? Pico is a tiny part of something - one
in a trillion.
PicoList is typically about small news - the school fair,
the new bakery opening around the corner, the windowcleaners
working on your street this week, the meeting about the new park,
where to get your toaster fixed, the compost your
local councillor is giving away tomorrow, music night
at the cafe down the street...
PicoList is for news about things close at hand. You probably won't read about it in
in any newspaper, but you'll find out by subscribing to PicoList.
How does it work?
Like any other announcement mailing list, except that the messages you receive are based on your location.
You subscribe with your email address and postal code. Senders select a
location target for their message and it is delivered to you if
your postal code is nearby and if it meets conditions
you have specified.
